CELEBRATION TIME!!   

We have just received information that the final approval has been granted for our request for Initial Candidacy with The Higher Learning Commission. The final meeting took place yesterday and the previous recommendations concerning our request for this status for The Art Institutes International Minnesota were upheld.

This means that we are now officially affiliated with HLC with the status of Initial Candidacy.

Our next step will be to reflect on the recommendations of the Visiting Team (last October) and the Review Panel (last May) and move forward with intentionality as we prepare for our NEXT document submission and our NEXT request for full accreditation through the Commission.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in this process so far – everyone will be invited to participate in some way as we move forward towards full accreditation.
