- Each internship candidate has the opportunity to meet with his or her academic director to get information and support from regarding the internship search process.
- The majority of the internship is required to occur during the quarter the class PA4486 is being taken.
- Each student is required to get the academic directors approval for the internship to qualify for taking PA4486 Internship class.
- The internship will be of a minimum length of 120 hours at the internship site under a mentoring creative supervisor, not a client.
- The creative supervisor, not a client, will evaluate the intern half way through and at the end of the internship period using the provided documentation for submission to the class instructor.
- If a student has not provide the completed and signed internship documentation by the assigned deadline, the student will be removed from the class to prevent the student from being charged tuition for the class they do not qualify for.
- An internship, the internship site, and assigned internship duties needs to be approved by the student's academic director prior to internship start.
- Each intern will take PA4486, participate in the class, meet all requirements of the class or a failing grade will result and the student must retake the class.
